5AF NASCAR thread (all levels including ARCA, ASA, etc)

Not sure about the Buescher deal. He got into his bumper a lap earlier, and then couldn't hold it low the next time they got to 3 & 4 and flat used him up. At the same time, they're teammates and somebody ought to be telling Bubba that there's no way he's going to hold him off conserving fuel for 10...

House Buying Thread

I hate trying to get my house ready to go on market. Clean this, repair that, touch it up again, etc. With both of us working full time and the three toddlers either wanting to help, or fighting with each other if left alone for more than 5 minutes.

Long post... Do you guys ever have weird dreams that hint at being terrifying? I told Kaiser this yesterday and I keep thinking about it. I dreamt that Kaiser and I lived in one of those apartments where the glass goes from the floor to the ceiling and we are very high up so that we can not open an...

Sunburns on the top of my head This, I my forehead breaks out if I wear a hat too long. When Pandora randomly skips to the next song while I'm jamming out to a good one. Also seconded, I don't know why it does it, but it never picks on of those songs I would skip if I wasn't worried about using all...

Refueling in F1 in 2017? Yay or Nay? I like the idea of having more happening during a pit stop so the team has to perform at a higher level. The 3 second stops are fantastic but they've got them down pat. That said, it introduces a lot of safety and cost issues. And then it'll reintroduce those st...

Something about her look from her older standups from a few years ago did it for me. Just a simple mid-thigh dress, but it worked. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/06/6f/23/066f237f83eac37aa203f9c9937e6563.jpg This reminds me of an incident this weekend. Point is, once she got a marketable skill, she found a job immediately. I think this is a huge issue in terms of education... people have no idea what marketable skills are until it's usually too late. We're taught to follow our dreams, do what we like, it's the American way! I mean, the informatio...

Pre-Kindergarten graduations. Isn't this setting the bar awfully low? There's no photographic proof that I had a grad ceremony before high school, and I certainly don't remember one. When did this become a thing? And then next year we do it again with a Kindergarten one? there are very few scenario...

I don't like voting R vs D, but the Democratic Party candidate has to be much more vile than the Republican one come this general election for me to vote red. I worry more about what legislation a Republican Congress with a Republican Executive would enact than the opposite (and I'm not convinced th...

That's the first place I've seen that detailed, but it had been making the rounds in the rumor mill. As for the article, Jenna is being dramatic again. Helio has said the kits were tested in closed sessions at IMS and TMS, I'm pretty sure RHR had Honda's kit out at Fontana as well. She also hits the...

The trick is that the Aero kits this year have allowed the cars to trim downforce levels at the rear of the car that they couldn't dream of getting to in years prior (with this or the last chassis). The holes in the floor that dodint mentions took a couple hundred pounds of rear downforce away, then...

It wasn't shot down; the pilot descended too quickly, and the high walls of the compound created a vortex effect in the rotor-wash which lowered the air density directly under the helo, effectively t...
