There are plenty more PHEVs on the market, but from what I can see only the RAV4 Prime, Prius Prime, a Volvo, and a couple Land Rovers of all things currently offer an electric-only range over 40 miles. Most seem to currently be around 30 miles or less of pure EV range. Bump that up to like 60 mile...

My PHEV, a 2017 Chevy Volt, gets 58 miles of electric before the gas kicks in. It's not a difficult goal to achieve. We're getting over 2000 miles to an 8 gallon tank.

But nobody makes that style of PHEV right now except for, I believe, the Toyota RAV4 Prime.

No. A pitcher coming in on a limited load for part of a season will not have a tangible impact on the standings. A guy like that could make a difference in the playoffs, but we don't do those here.
