It is, but when you leave you forget just how hipster it is. I do feel that there are less hippies and more hipsters, which is sad.

I should note while I have warned people about certain articles, I would never expect other people to do so. You don't know what peoples triggers are. Nor should anyone be expected to do something like this off of the internet in real life. Its difficult and near impossible.

I think trigger warnings started off well. I use them from time to time. They are good for real trauma (like rape) and stories posted online. What you describe is the extreme that I'm sad the warning has been taken to. I've even seen people advocate trigger warnings on syllibi for literature classes.
