4.1.2015 OFFICIAL GDT FLYERS @ PENS

If you swapped this out with a recording of almost any other Pens/Flyers game for the past 2 or 3 years, I don't think I'd notice. Seriously, even if they changed the home team and had difference announcers, there'd be too many other similarities for me to catch it. That's because you are drunk on ...

4.1.2015 OFFICIAL GDT FLYERS @ PENS

With each game I watch I become more and more depressed that the league has reverted to late 90s level of clutch and grab. Who wants to see superstars do superstar things? I want to see scrubs hold and hook and grab and make sure those dumb stars can't score. Well that's not true. Giroux and Vorcek...

Picture of Kapanen from Twitter in February (courtesy of HFboards): https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B-eApOTIMAAG-eo.jpg I wish I could somehow buy a jersey of that picture. Also, Jake Guentzel going to Frozen Four with Omaha. 38 pounds in 35 games is nothing to sneeze at (13+25). He's just so small thou...

Actually, if you read Dejan's comments on him, the playoffs seem to be exactly why they are bringing him over. From what I read, he's only going to WBS until the playoffs due to cap restraints. I hope that's not true. Give non-descript but OK AHLers Rust or Wilson a chance first. Both are a little ...

Anyone seem much of him playing this season? No, but I remember early in the season he was pretty much a point per game player, went to the World Juniors where he sucked, and finished the season with 21 points in 41 games, but had 5 assists in 5 playoff games. So I guess take from that what you wil...

Who Are You?

He's a good guy, met him once. Bought him a pizza over the internet, and he got me Pens ticks. Nothing but good things to say about him. That's an interesting exchange. But there is nothing wrong with being insane. Some of the finest Americans were crazy, including brilliant inventory Nikolia Tesla...

...just because I think we should have one. Teddy Blueger's #1 ranked Minnesota Mankato was bounced in the first round by RIT. He was a -2 with 1 assist, giving him 28 points (10+18) in 37 games. This concludes his 3rd year so I'm not sure if he's going pro or staying in college for the full four. L...

Is there a reason Brandon Sutter hasn't been playing in this game?
I seriously couldn't tell you whether he has or hasn't. He's basically a house plant.

Colossal TV Show thread

1196 Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - Very funny. I feel like a shouldn't like Tina Fey stuff for some reason, bit I really do. My wife and I hardly ever like the same TV shows. I thought this show could work for both of us. Nope. I enjoyed it. In retrospect I have no idea how you even knew what I was s...

Who Are You?

Some smart man put it best. She did not interact with the community. She came in after months took over and used rule number one or whatever so she didnt have to explain. It got toxic. She told me if I didnt like it to go elsewhere. So I did. Go somewhere else NAN You shut it. I liked it better whe...

Should we be excited about our young goalies yet?

Murray needs to eat 40 sandwiches. He makes Fleury look like a beefcake. He'll wear down quickly as a #1 goalie at the AHL level.

P.S. :scared: :slug: :pop: :fist:

Re: BEER

I would rather have bud/miller/coors light than blue moon. Its horrible. That's harsh. I actually think Blue Moon is OK and for whatever reason need to have one at Primanti's when I go. Also, IPAs are the greatest. My beer needs to bunch me in the face with a delicious and even reckless use of hops.

Re: Injury discussion and whatnot

Eh. Not sure it would be misuse because when it worked, Malkin and Letang were probably our best options on the point. Needed a right handed shot, which Letang is, you're not going to really take Malkin off the 1st PP unless there was something REALLY bad going on, and when the opportunity came for...
