*edit* Short thread, yeah. I've been as high as first and as low as fifth. MR25 went from 1st to like 4th in the same race. :lol:

I have no luck in this... at least I prepped myself for the collapse.

Thanks. I forgot Leclerc had scored points this race, I thought you might have had me covered.

@Shyster

If you wanted to go again, these are the numbers my other league is going with. I'm not sure I agree, particularly that LEC is a higher value than BOT, but, whatever.

Code: Select all

23	HAM	Mercedes 	Lewis Hamilton
17	BOT	Mercedes 	Valtteri Bottas
23	VET	Ferrari 	Sebastian Vettel
18	LEC	Ferrari 	Charles Leclerc
19	VER	Red Bull Max Verstappen
14	GAS	Red Bull Pierre Gasly
6	RIC	Renault 	Daniel Ricciardo
5	HUL	Renault 	Nico Hülkenberg
5	PER	Racing Point	Sergio Pérez
3	STR	Racing Point	Lance Stroll
3	GRO	Haas F1 Team	Romain Grosjean
3	MAG	Haas F1 Team	Kevin Magnussen
3	SAI	McLaren Carlos Sainz Jr.
2	NOR	McLaren 	Lando Norris
3	RAI	Alfa Romeo Kimi Räikkönen
2	GIO	Alfa Romeo Antonio Giovinazzi
2	KVY	Toro Rosso	Daniil Kvyat
2	ALB	Toro Rosso	Alexander Albon
1	KUB	Williams 	Robert Kubica
1	RUS	Williams 	George Russell

@dodint

Is the overall budget still $40 million for those numbers?

Well the Ferrari has been really good in testing, and Bottas is Bottas.

I think I shall continue my strategy (*snicker*) of selecting the maximum number of drivers that no one else will be selecting.

Did the person who put this table together share their methodology? I agree that perhaps BOT and LEC should be flipped, but I'd go further and say both are slightly overvalued here. But I'm not going to tip the cart, if we run with these as-is that's cool.

And it's a sad to see Bob at 1. :(

They're done by hand but their initial foundation is betting odds; we were waiting for them to be published so he could make the derivative numbers. There was some mention of the ability to purchase all the Formula 1.5 runners if you wanted. No idea how that manifested in the actual numbers since that league has unique teams.

The same person has been doing those numbers for us for like a decade so I don't question much (except the LEC thing, but even then I didn't voice my concern to them).
