To be honest, from a coaching perspective and a players perspective...I hate having a power play so early in the game...not everyone has touched the ice and the puck yet, give a hit/take a hit...you're not always fully dialed in to the game and in the flow of things yet...

It's tough to get into a rhythm so early on the power play...clean ice and all...

That powerplay is a frikin joke. And yes, I am serious about this... Crosby needs to be a healthy scratch next game.

I'm not excusing that abomination...just passing it along...

I'd be curious to see power play percentages in the first five minutes of contest...I bet that's like a 5% venture if I had to guess...I can't imagine they're that successful...
