Murray wins AHL rookie of the year award.

Is there hope for him being able to make the jump next year?
Prospect Thread
I'd rather him get 40+ starts in the AHL than 15 in the NHL next year.

Yeah, let him start next year in the A as the man, and see how he handles it.

Fleury never won AHL rookie of the year. Bring up Murray now.

He probably could handle backup duty, but let's see how he fairs with some more pro seasoning. Rookie goalies often are very successful until there is a book out on them, then there is some regression in their sophomore season. Is there hope for him being able to make the jump next year?

Adding Wilson, Dumoulin, Chorney, and Pouliot to their lineup is going to give WBS a hell of a lot of fire power as they move forward in the post season.

Zatkoff in Pittsburgh as the backup but if Fleury ever goes on IR I think you hand the reigns to Murray to see what he can do. Jarry should also be in WBS too. Goaltending and defense depth are a huge strength right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see some pieces moved for forward depth from teams severely lacking in those areas.
Prospect Thread
Zatkoff doesn't really seem to be an NHL calibre guy and Murray has a lot left to prove. Jarry is still a complete question mark with regards to pro hockey. I'm ok with where the goaltending depth is but I don't know that I would call it a huge strength.
