I think they are playing Rope-a-Dope with the entire league. Look like a big ball of suck to lure the fools to their demise in the playoffs.

I'm not much of an x's and o's guy, but maybe they need to switch up the formation they're using in the PP?
That's definitely part of it.

They'd be better served with a 1-3-1, which is strange that they're not using, since it's actually something HCMJ has basically used his entire coaching career.

what are they using right now?

It's basically a modified overload formation.

Good read from Japers Rink on the 1-3-1 and the Caps from a few years ago. Also notice the citation of HCMJ strategies book.

Just heard Perron and Comeau are out. What happened?

Perron's sick. Comeau with a game misconduct for boarding. Not overly terrible... just caught a Coyote player in a bad position. Was maybe a bit too much punishment for the hit.

Hopefully the 5+10 will sway the league from looking into it any further, especially since Campbell came back.

That Coyotes guy was skating like the guy in Mighty Ducks 2 who can't stop. Good effort by Kunitz to get back despite the penalty, & lucky that the Coyotes guy didn't break his arm or something.

I don't mind Kunitz on the powerplay, but he has to be in a better position. If anything he should be in the slot alternating with Perron with either Hornqvist or Downie in front.
