The Braves fired a manager mid road trip...and he first found out because he got a plane ticket in his email

I don’t think any of the coaches are hated by the players like Gallant was. But frankly Reirden should have been fired before this road trip. I mean if this team loses 4 of 5 say, they are in big big big trouble the rest of the wayDickie Dunn wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 1:30 pmPretty sure Vegas fired Gallant in the middle of a road trip and made him walk home

I don't know our practice schedule...but firing Reirden after the Panthers game would be good.
Then announce that we've traded POJ to Anaheim for Brett Leason; or POJ to St. Louis for Sammy Blais. Or POJ and Zohorna to Nashville for Philip Tomasino.
Not that those guys *fix* it...but there's younger size and shooting ability there. And POJ has lost his job at least twice over with Shea and Ludvig around.

Yea at this point, sitting here with POJ doing nothing is just decreasing his limited value even more

Showcase him a game or two with Letang. And send him away for another player that might be on waivers next summer just like him...Trip McNeely wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 1:50 pm Yea at this point, sitting here with POJ doing nothing is just decreasing his limited value even more

Let's get our CGI team to make it seem like he's in an NHL game then and mail that doctored tape to those teams that I listed (which are all teams that I think would benefit from another low level LD...it wasn't necessarily the players I was after, I just scanned rosters and went, "does POJ compete with their 3LD?")

I’m bored and I’m looking at possible targets that could play in the Kessel role on the PP and I’m striking out

I know it’s a bit in jest but playing Phil on the PP and limited 4th line minutes wouldn’t be the worst thing. Considering we has some guy named Poopenan getting minutes
