Why bother having a good goalie tandem that had success this year when you can try to ride one player into the ground (who isn't used to it) and go against league trends and proper player evaluation...?
We literally already had this exact conversation. Meow's statement is all that is needed for me.

Probably shouldn't have turned this one on and left the season on a high. This is pointless

because one of those goalies could (keyword: “could”) have a higher perceived value by an NHL GM than a actual value and the Penguins need to improve markedly if they want to go from out of the playoffs to a contender

the notion that we absolutely shouldn’t trade a guy who didn’t play during our hottest stretch is silly

Are you saying that Jarry has been irrelevant? Did you watch the first half of the season...?

Goalies don't have much value either.

On the list of issues the org needs to address, team goaltending is pretty damn low.

lol I had edited it to clarify

ultimately I think yall rate Jarry higher than I do. Which is fine. We’re allowed to have our opinions

I think the issue is you rate Ned higher than we do. Which is insane considering how mikey and I gushed over him the previous 3 years.

So, what's the trade for Jarry that you think is reasonable and would move the needle for you? Just the foundation of a trade is fine...

"I would trade Jarry to [team] straight across for [player]"

I think that might help frame where you're coming from with this a bit...
