Losing Bales hurts. It hurts a lot, but his style was more of a help to MAF than to Murray, if that makes sense. Bales wanted to anchor his goalies and really square up to the first shot. Buckley seems to like a little more fluidity. Kind of stack saves together, flow from one save to the next. Buckley is a very well known and respect goalie coach. He is good in a development role, so let's see how he works as the big clubs coach

Gilles Meloche worked with many penguin goaltenders... doesn't mean tat he did a good job. Bales actually did a good job. Not saying that Buckley won't, just saying that Bales did.

Why worry? Buckley was the development coach. Murray made his biggest strides while in the development system. It is not an accident or coincidence.

Every move Rutherford has been has been pretty solid. I'll wait until the season gets going to make an assessment on the coaching move. I am surprised he didn't go to Vegas however.
