There are those commercials for the Crystal Stanley Cups filled with melted finals ice. I thought that would be really cool until I saw the $80 price tag. Obviously as you stated without knowing then it's actual ice, it could just be $80 tap water.Yea, I'm buying one, just always wondered about that. Like the "ice from the game." In the first Pens Charity Bag, we got a good sized piece of game used glass from the Winter Classic, as well as water from the last game played at the Igloo. I have no doubts as to the authenticity given the source, and they make for a couple cool conversation/memorabilia pieces. I do know that they replace panels of glass nearly every year for one reason or another, so it's not uncommon at all.
