There was also an idea I remember hearing where you serve the full 2 minutes no matter what, no matter if a goal is scored you stay in the box, man penalties would be deadly to take.

that would just lead to no penalties in the playoffs

I like how they show Lecavalier's faceoff win - blatant interference after winning it - and praise him for it. (There's my daily ref/penalty quota.)

(Edit: Yes, I know it's a hockey play or whatever. Just typing my thoughts.)

I am watching how the Pens break out in this game. They don't travel up the ice with the puck as well as I'd like. We'll see in the next 2 periods.
