Nashville roll call

Thread for any discussion if fans are making the trip. I already reserved an airport hotel after Monday night just for S&Gs, I'd really love to go next Saturday. But theres virtually no chance of getting a ticket at those prices, and that place is so Pred nuts right now, it might not even be worth it. But I'd love to spend Game 3 weekend or Game 6* weekend there.

I'm not a travel agent. My room is about $90 a night 6 minutes from the arena and downtown. I'd like to take advantage of a long weekend in Nashville to visit but.. Tickets to the game? Fuhgitaboutit.

Flights were ~$550 round trip last I looked (Tuesday). Hotels downtown are $350 per, if you can get one. And then the tickets? Reports are upwards of $600 for the cheap seats.

Even if you just went, Nashville is an expensive city to drink. $6 bottled beers (Miller/Bud/Coors Light) and $7 mixed drinks.

Probably ballpark of $3k if you fly and 2 nights and go to the game. You could drive, stay one night, and not do the game for under $1k.

Tix are all 1K+ in nashville. Not many are re-selling.. 2K+ for sale each game in Pittsburgh, about 300 for sale each game there

Tix are all 1K+ in nashville. Not many are re-selling.. 2K+ for sale each game in Pittsburgh, about 300 for sale each game there

Game 5 is over $600, did that go on sale yet?
I'm about 250 miles from PIT, that would be my choice to go, wondering if I should buy now or wait til when for prices to drop.

I heard they were restricting box office ticket sales for anyone outside the Preds viewing area (as in, if you don't have a TN, KY, MS, AL address, you don't get tickets). Probably won't be a lot for resale.

Tried to find a news article about it but failed. However, I can report from a friend who lives in Nashville who tried to wear Rangers gear in a lower section during THE REGULAR SEASON that she was asked to remove it and was given a Predators shirt instead.

That has never happened to me when the Pens were in town here. I've seen people at every single game wearing the other team's gear - sometimes a lot of people.

Every day. We went to the Burgh for game two and ended up on the local Nashville news - got interviewed outside of Wholey's. They were waiting for Preds fans trying to buy catfish. We were in Pens gear and told him we lived in Nashville. Talked to him for a long time and had an interview that made the 6 PM news.
