I don't like the idea of Niemi as backup G, but we've done well with reclamation and career resurrection projects the last couple of years.

I'm fine with it. Strong veteran who is the backup.

If Murray gets hurt they'll bring jarry up.

I like Hunwick. He is hockey tough and makes simple plays and can skate. He's a fire hydrant out there who is willing to take hits to make plays. That said: he's a bottom pair guy that can pk. Under Gonchar and Martin, he might be up for the Norris next year.

I bet that was it, given Daley's age and that 2 major leg injuries in 2 years have caused him to lose a step. JR and Sully want to get younger, stay fast, and get hungry guys in.

I'll really miss him, though. Have loved him since he was in Dallas.
