I liked him too much in FD to blame him for viewers dropping, lol.

Prime TV has Battlestar Galactica back. Might be time for a rewatch.

To my shame, I have never watched so much as a single episode of the BSG reboot.

It gets a bit lost toward the end, but overall it's pretty fantastic.

Because Amazon Prime Video has terrible UI, the 2003 BSG miniseries is listed elsewhere on the platform. It's now a 3+ hour movie instead of series, but you should start there first.

X-Men '97 was perfection, from start to finish.
I love what they did with Magneto, almost getting you to believe that he'd be a harbinger for good change. Him removing the adamantium from Wolverine in the final episode... wow. That's actually one of the few comic books I still have from this day. I hope that they follow the comics in that Magneto restores his adamantium, because Wolverine is basically wild without them... and let's be honest, not as cool. Classic brown and yellow suit, though? Hellz yeah.

I don't think I've been this excited about a second season for another show in a long time.

Looks like FX wants to do at least one more season of Shogun.

Please no. Let it stand on its (substantial) merits of 10 absolutely perfect hours of television.

I've been seeing it for a week now that Se2 was in the works, but everyone kept citing to the same Deadspin story that just said Sanada-san has signed a new deal. The Variety reporting makes a lot more sense.

I’m probably the only one who watches it, but S.W.A.T. was cancelled by CBS. I enjoyed the show, so this sucks for me, but I hope it’s picked up by another network
...and the decision was reversed, with S.W.A.T. getting a final 7th season to end the series. I'll take it.
This has been an interesting ride. Shemar Moore pleaded with fans to help give SWAT a final season to tie up storylines, and it worked. I’m almost finished with S07 and they have completed a number of storylines, leading to 3 of the main characters leaving. Last week, I read that the show was renewed for an 8th season. Nice! But most of the cast is now gone, lol.

Looks like a new Dexter, Deb, and Harry have been cast for the Dexter prequel series:
The “Dexter” prequel series at Paramount+ with Showtime has found its three leads.

Variety has learned that Patrick Gibson, Christian Slater, and Molly Brown are all set to star in the show, which is now titled “Dexter: Original Sin.” Gibson will play Dexter Morgan, while Slater will play Harry Morgan, Dexter’s adoptive father. Brown will play Debra Morgan, Dexter’s sister. The three roles were played by Michael C. Hall, James Remar, and Jennifer Carpenter respectively in the original series.

The 10-episode prequel was originally announced in February 2023. It is set in 1991, 15 years before the events of “Dexter.” The official logline states that the new show “follows Dexter (Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcements’ radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.”

Why not just put Michael C Hall in a wig?

I'll wait for a trailer or something, but on the face, I'm not terribly interested in a Michael C. Hall-less Dexter show.
