Ive been pens fan since 83. I tried to join lgp years ago but everytime id try to submit it claimed my email was invalid or some other problem so i quit trying out of spite. As pens fan i just lurked the boards to read fellow fans views on the team. Im not great at picking user names so i chose larry depalma as an ode to my deceased dad. Larry played handfull of games for pens back in early 90's and i believe he fought craig berube of the caps during that time and while watching that game with my father he says deadpan..holy sh*t louie delpalma (taxi) is a penguin? it was funnier then it sounds and i still lol about it all these years later.

Great to have you LD. I just looked up your Dad and see he played 7 games in '93 and '94. I was watching back then but don't remember him. Any good stories to share about his experience with the team back then? Or in the pro hockey in general? Cool that he fought Berbube as he was one tough guy. And of course, RIP for your Dad.

Me and my dad often watched pens/steelers/pirate games together. during said pens game some guy we never heard of (depalma) got in fight and my dads reaction was pens signed louie depalma? who was danny devitos character on the great show taxi. I guess you had to be there! LMAO maybe lgp was right in rejecting me!
