she wasn't. but we got a whole bunch of the life and times of joan...which is great, said no one. she seems to be completely over the fact that her being a legit whore got her all of her success. would have been interesting to delve into that a little, no?Was Megan on again this week, because that's guaranteed to a kill any scene.so...mad men is pretty lousy this season

I made the mistake of googling Mr Ragnar after a few episodes in season 1. No...he's not going to die due to these wounds.BTW, Vikings has been awesome this season. I'm wondering if Ragnar is really going to die. He is in bad shape.

This show has definitely made me curious about the time period.
I really didn't know much about it

I don't know if I'd say it's been lousy, but it certainly doesn't seem to be building towards some satisfying conclusion. I enjoy the characters enough to just appreciate spending more time with them, but it seems a bit like they burned through all of their big plot lines in past seasons.so...mad men is pretty lousy this season

I think splitting the 7th season into two parts was a big mistake. Makes me want so much more out of these last few episodes. Would have been better as one continuous season.I don't know if I'd say it's been lousy, but it certainly doesn't seem to be building towards some satisfying conclusion. Yeah, with only 7 episodes, it makes it more irritating to spend ~10 minutes on a forgotten tertiary character like Glen.I think splitting the 7th season into two parts was a big mistake. Watched the first two episodes last night...the only thing keeping me watching it right now is the acting of Coach Taylor and my crush on Linda Cardellini.
I mean it is not terrible and I think it has a lot of potential, but it is not a "normal" show in the way it is shot and chronologically presented.

I liked the latest episode and really like the season so far, but like LarGar said, it doesn't seem to be building towards a conclusion. I'm pretty sure (much Like Don's life and especially him trying to find out a future in this episode) that's how it's going to end. He has no idea how it's going to end, he keeps going from one thing to the other and that's basically what the show has done. I think if it turns out that way, it will be fitting, but I will certainly miss watching them move on to the other thing. Either that or Don goes Taxi Driver on the Senator.Yeah, with only 7 episodes, it makes it more irritating to spend ~10 minutes on a forgotten tertiary character like Glen.I think splitting the 7th season into two parts was a big mistake. Daredevil renewed for a second season, but with two new showrunners: one from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the other from Sons of Anarchy: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-f ... son-790645
Also mentioned is an Agents of SHIELD spinoff. I haven't watched it this season, but I heard it got better.
I do hope Agent Carter gets a second full season. Weird that we haven't heard anything yet - doesn't bode well, I fear.

Return of The Muppet Show to have more "character development" and a more adult tone.

Some of the old SNL Muppets were scary. But then again, they weren't Kermit, Grover and Miss Piggy.
