The biggest takeaway was that Trump is still an interrupting dadhole....and he still won't commit to accepting the results of the election. That is a fundamental question you answer YES to.

We can all agree that these people are trainwrecks, but Hillary is a single empty commercial car that hit an abandoned vehicle at a railroad crossing. Trump is a fully-loaded commuter train that plowed into a bus full of orphans.

The statement about the outcome of the election is going to be the theme of this debate. Pretty much the rest of the debate will end up meaningless. Watched a little bit of the pbs commentary, David brooks made the case for why that is important, and it really is.

He's got his base and thats it as he siphons off moderate republicans everyday.

CBS News is interviewing undecideds. They might as well be interviewing potted plants at this point.

Regarding the whole not accepting the results of the election

It's a very dangerous rhetoric that can inspire people to open revolt.

The woman that said Trump had all the issues made me laugh. I wish she would have been asked to expand on that point, because I honestly wanted to know which issues she thinks he gets.

I forget if it was here or somewhere else, but I think the best explanation of Trump is that he's basically Brick Tamland from 'Anchorman'.

FWIW, today was the first time in at least the last three presidential cycles when the Betfair trading odds on the favorite did not change one iota during the whole debate 90 minutes. The for-against midpoint on Clinton victory was 1.225 to 1 (81.6%) all the time.

The post debate trend is a different story - Clinton has been steadily gaining in the last 15 minutes (1.195 as I write this).

And here come the tweets from the Republicans separating themselves from the 'not accepting the results' comments.

Hey @dodint, I'm north of Green Bay watching an anti-Feingold add where they have a bunch of people old enough to be on MediCare complaining about their insurance premiums under ObamaCare.

Yeah, I feel like in principle, if enough people doubted the legitimacy of the democratic process, that would be a problem. But I suspect in reality, even if Trump goes on whining about it being rigged, only a handful of his most hardcore supporters would do attempt to do anything about it.

Maybe I'm underestimating the stupidity of the American people, but I'm betting on their apathy and short attention spans to keep anything too bad from happening.
