It's weird because I'm really nutty about my grammar/punctuation in things that matter...all of my posts are pretty much stream of consciousness, so I just keep it moving...I always assume people are pissed when they do that.My ex-girlfriend used an ellipsis solely to let me know she was mad at me via text.
Whether it was just straight "..." or "You're a jerk..." it universally meant that she was pissed haha

John Mollard's 1802 cookbook "The Art of Cookery Made Easy and Refined" (page 152) includes a recipe called "Fried Onions with Parmesan Cheese." The recipe suggests cutting onions into 1/2" rings, dipping them into a batter made of flour, cream, salt and pepper, and Parmesan cheese, and then deep frying them in "boiling" lard. It further suggests serving them with a sauce made of melted butter and mustard.
