Aside from episode 2 being a complete mess, the Romanoffs is the best show going right now.

We watched the series. Didn’t see a single ad for the finale tonight, but my wife caught a note about it in the metro (paper at the train station).Timeless is having a 2 hour long Christmas special on tonight

I luckily saw an ad during the news

Timeless finale was alright.
Not great, pretty expected in content. But that's about what you can expect when you're forced to wrap things up in 2 hours and you're basically only speaking to the most fervent of the fan-base.

We realized before we watched it that we apparently missed the final 2 episodes of season 2. Glad we caught that before last night, so we'll get around to this eventually. I still have like 200 American Pickers episodes to sift through because they label every one as 'New' even though most of just 'best of/theme' episodes.

Expedition Unknown has a lot of that. They will bundle two similar old episodes under a new name and I wind up with 2 hours of old content on the DVR.

Finally getting to Narcos and Jack Ryan this weekend.
Heard the theme to Jack Ryan and immediately thought it was the Westworld theme.
Google informs me it’s Ramin Djawadi on both themes.

Finished Narcos 1 and Jack Ryan.
Really disliked the ending of Narcos compared to the real life people it’s based on.
Pseudo-glamorous ending for Félix is so wrong.

But it isn't really the ending, is it? I mean, I don't want to spoiler anything, but ...Finished Narcos 1 and Jack Ryan.

Watching "The Crown" Season 2...
Didn't like it as much as the first season.
Didn't need 10 episodes of marriage angst.

I take that back.
The scenes with Jackie Kennedy and surrounding the assassination are the best television I may have ever seen.
Likewise all the scenes with Margaret and Elizabeth plus the scenes with Liz and the former king.

Watched the first few episodes of The Good Place. So far I’m very much enjoying it. I love Kristen Bell. Her looks and speech patterns remind me of a good friend of mine from grad school (who got married today, oddly enough).

The Innocent Man on Netflix is terrific. It's really a shame this show didn't blow up the way Making a Murderer did, especially since there's at least a fair chance Avery is actually guilty. The Innocent Man is a much more convincing an less biased exploration into the way innocent people can get railroaded, whether intentionally or by sloppy police work and/or prosecutors. I highly recommend it.

The more I think about it the more I do think Avery is guilty.
Will definitely check out innocent man and unrelated to the TV show but on the same front check out the new book by Radley balko on Mississippi coroner work.

Glad it's well done. I read the book in 2011 and it has stuck with me ever since. Added the show to my watch list a few days ago; happy to hear that you liked it.The Innocent Man on Netflix is terrific. I found a pretty cool show on Netflix called Hollywood Weapons: Fact or Fiction? The host has a ton of energy, which keeps it lively. They get a little crazy sometimes with the tests they do.
In the last episode I watched, they went from trying to open a safe with water and an explosive [like in The Score (I haven't actually seen said movie)] to firing an anti-material rifle at it. A 20mm round is frickin' huge.
