I tried a lot of new (to me) beerverages last night in NYC. Rattle and Hum had a pretty killer selection, outside of the wild ales and saisons (I did have a boulevard tank 7 on tap, which was nice). St Feuillien saison was just okay to me, not great. I know its not an incredibly rated drink, but i really enjoyed the Finchs Fascist Pig on tap. I think because of all the walking, I kept coming back to leffe blond as my go-to session bev. I'm gonna try to remember what else I tried.

Source of the post Is the white ale their Holy moses?
Yup.

Looking forward to it and the Belgian ale.
Source of the post I never figured out why they stopped bottling that.
I honestly didn't even know it existed. I've only seen Eliot Ness, Edmund Fitz, Dortmunder, Burning River, Nosferatu, Spacewalker, and Blackout Stout in the wild, I think. Don't really know why some of these other ones aren't more readily available, because I think (specifically, out of my list) the session IPA and the Belgian would sell well enough (based on style alone).

Drinking Enjoy By for the first time... The hype was not a lie. What an excellent beer.
Why can't I find this beer in tx?! Ugh that's annoying, it's enjoy by 420 right?
I'm surprised you can't get it. Seems widely distributed. Do you not get any Stone beers?

Had a Enjoy By today. Definitely very good.
The thread is here. Votes are open for the regional finals. I'll bump it.

Is this the place in Ardmore?

Nevermind I missed your earlier post. It's a 45 minute drive from me, so I'll have to check it out.

I just left tired hands. The beer was good. The food was great. Rarely does brewery food impress me more than the beer, but the Abruzzi charcuterie we had was great, their in-house bread is off the chain, and their pickles were incredibly well done--like high end pickles sounds like a strange thing to say, but they were just great
There's a high end burger place in my neighborhood, which makes their own bread and butter pickles.

Artesianal pickling should be the next wave.

Hop Hunter. This is pretty good, but perhaps unfair to drink after having Enjoy By earlier.

Yeah, Untappd had it as "Hop Continuum Blood Orange Gypsy IPA", but there isn't enough room on the menu for that.

Drinking the Whitsun Ale by Arcadia Ales. Like it very much. You can taste the orange peel and coriander. And something else. Cinnamon? Quite refreshing.

We get almost all stone beers, even Cali-Belgique and all that. I've had enjoy by before, but it was back in February. I'm going to go to whole foods to get that little sob I bet they'll have it

This is the first edition of the beer that they've bottled into 12 oz bottles. They were all bombers before. If you shop at places that don't do bombers, that might be why you haven't seen them.

Picked up a 12 pack GL spring sampler. Honestly didn't even know they made these beers.

American Session IPA
Belgian Ale
White Ale
Kolsch
Is the white ale their Holy moses? I never figured out why they stopped bottling that. Looking forward to getting this and hearing your thoughts
The Holy Moses is very good. Somewhere between a wit and a weizen, I think. Definitely enjoy it.

The Belgian is OK. Kind of bitter on the back end. Not exactly what I was expecting view other Belgians I've had but it's not terrible.

Drinking the Saison Dupont. Been awhile. Quality stuff.

Although if I am completely honest... For the price, I think I may prefer Sofie.

Had the GL Kolsch. Tastes like the smoothness of a lager with the bitter flavor of a pilsner.

Tonight's fare: a growler of Coastal Empire's (Georgia) Southern Delight (a praline amber), brought back on Friday from Savannah. Yum.
