Man, the Sinatra documentary was excellent. Four hours plus.

Sheesh, Ava Gardner....so, so, hot. Then a very young Mia Farrow...who got over her breakup with Sinatra by going to India with the Beatles.

The entire four hours had audio interviews of Sinatra, his family, other celebrities, but very few on camera shots of these interviews. A few with Sinatra himself, back in the day (Cronkite!) I really liked that technique, because there was so much video and still photos that could be shared over the audio.

Recorded and ready to watch that this weekend.

It was my favorite comedy ever, but if it's spliced up like last season I have no interest in watching it.
Yeah, hopefully they do it right this time around. I remember reading that they were supposed to re-cut season 4 and show it in chronological order instead of the hot mess they originally released. Because I loved the show so much, Id give season 4 another shot if re-released, though my hopes aren't high.

I'll have to see if that Sinatra thing is on DirecTV's app - I don't have the free space for that much time to set on the DVRs.

Also - for any that missed it and want to catch up:
AMC is airing the first season of TURN next Monday all day, leading up to the season 2 premiere at 9pm (2 hours).
And... Last Ship first season has come to Hulu, just in time for the 2nd season to come back early June on TNT.

"I Hate Christian Laettner" was really good. One of the best 30 for 30's.

Also - apparently BBC America has free on its website the entire series of Orphan Black as a lead up to the new season.

It's on HBO Go (for satellite/cable HBO subscribers), not sure if it's available through HBO Now yet.

About an hour or so into Pt 1. So good. Was not aware of the relationship with Tommy Dorsey, that was fascinating.

Also, it is very difficult to see and hear him and not imagine "I got chunks of guys like you in my stool" and "You are blind as a bat, and I have sight".

He died about a month after I started working at EMI-Capitol; the next day, they closed the office at noon and sent everyone home and lowered the flag over the tower to half mast for a week.

Seems like there are people coming out of the woodwork left and right to try to dig up dirt on Trevor Noah now that he's been named the next host of the Daily Show.

This turned out to be excellent. I respect Laettner because even though he was a dbag he backed it up. I still hate him cause he played at Duke though.

Yeah, that's pretty much my feeling. I hated Duke and Laettner, but damn he was good and backed everything up. I don't think there will ever be a college player with his career again.

What now?
Just have seen people digging up a bunch of his tweets and then I saw Russell Peters claimed that he's a joke stealer, which is a big no-no in the comedian world.

I think it's a pretty decent sci-fi show elevated by the incredible performance of the lead actress. It's not "can't miss" viewing for me, but it's definitely enjoyable to catch up on when there's a lull in shows I am more attached to. I think it's streaming on Amazon Prime.

Silicon Valley was awesome. I waited a long time to watch it, then ended up binge watching all 8 episodes on a Sunday.
