The View had a guest appearance by Trump's propagandists this week. Another one was welcomed warmly by one of those Meet the Press type of shows. Chuck Todd bumps elbows with pro-fascists every week. That Jim Sciutto guy will host a pro-fascist on his show and then tweet about how wrong it is to sit back and accept what's happening in this country.

So you have THAT happening in the media.

Then you have the most pitiful moment I've ever witnessed in Congress - when the Dems had the chance to call witnesses during impeachment while 1/6 was still relevant and the Limp Dick Caucus of Raskin, Shatz, Coons, etc. said "no thanks. we don't like work. we'll cover it in a tweet". There was an opportunity to give every capital officer a captive global audience, to subpoena everyone in the Trump orbit, to name names of their colleagues and twist the knife into the GOP throat. But instead...hard pass.

Nobody cares about what's happening. It's easier for the LDC to just write a tweet and get re-elected in their safe districts than to participate in civics. Really...is it that bad for Schumer if Trump is re-elected? Pelosi? Any of them? What do they care. They get to keep their jobs, and they love having baked in excuses for not having to do work. What's the motive for anyone in Washington to change the framework? Remember all that insider trading before COVID? Pretty obvious that they're all doing it, and don't want to rock the boat. There are several congressmen who deserve to be in prison exclusively because of their involvement in 1/6. Real life prison. Hard time. But there's obviously mutually assured destruction in play where they'll take down their crooked counterparts if the Dems press too hard.

So...in short, the GOP is gonna be the GOP. The media and the Dems are, in many ways, much more pathetic.

And I haven't even mentioned RGB (RIP, Canaan) and Breyer's obvious disregard for the well being of our country and how no one is talking about how a corrupt SCOTUS is in our future for generations to come.

Once we stop caring about COVID we’re back to insurrection mode. There has to be a major division between the left and right. Congress has enjoyed COVID-gate since there’s far less murder and whatnot attached to it. But they’ll have to ramp up the election conspiracies again since they already played their abortion card.

A political assassination seems likely at some point in the next year.

Only one side of the story so far, and obviously bringing a gun and shooting someone is not the right thing and he should be punished, but if the bullying stuff, and him being attacked in the class room (there is video) is true, there is a small part of me that feels bad for the kid.

According to the family member, they went to the principal numerous times about the shooter being bullied and targeted by a certain group. This isn't a random unhinged kid shooting up the school, nor is it some drug deal or something else like that gone bad. The kid was being beat up (again, there is video supposedly supporting this) and he pulls out a gun and shoots.

To reiterate again, the shooting/gun at school is not good nor the right thing.

This is spectacularly shoddy reportage. They don't cite their sourcing with any specificity. "[A] 2019 deposition seen by Reuters"...... why was he being deposed? For what proceeding? "According to court filings..." "state and federal court documents..." again, cite us to them.

I did get a kick out of the video from the insurrection that showed a rioter alza-ing the OAN bandera. Imagine going to a Pride parade with a Young Turks flag.
