I wonder if the photo was geo-tagged ("come arrest me at x, y coordinates") or if anyone else in the photo was talking about the party on socials and that's how they located him. Either way would be suitably hilarious.

They sold the footage to him for $50K sometime, I'm assuming right after, it happened.

This is probably a leak from the raid on one of his "estates."

I think it's safe to say that not all Iranians are concerned that their president might have been killed in a helicopter crash.

Setting aside the politics and the hatred, I have to wonder what the eff they were doing flying in that weather. Videos coming from the area showed heavy fog and pretty much zero visibility. IMO, helicopters are a somewhat iffy proposition even in good weather, and there's no way in hell that I would want to be in a helicopter in IMC/IFR conditions. That's basically a death wish. Ask the family of Kobe Bryant.
