17-year old with the body of a 104-year old. What a horrible disease.

That's pretty impressive. How many people in the history of mankind can say they lived in three centuries?

Probably just 4 since any others are dead and can't talk.

Am I the only one that is obsessed with how many people born in the 1800s are left in this world.

I'm sure there are some Civil War re-enactors who share your passion.

Am I the only one that is obsessed with how many people born in the 1800s are left in this world.
Considering they can't remember what it was like before 1900 I don't see why the arbitrary cutoff of 1900 is used.
Though anyone who lived through the 20s as a teen or 20 something is really cool.

Considering they can't remember what it was like before 1900 I don't see why the arbitrary cutoff of 1900 is used.
Considering the point of the discussion was the number of people still alive who were born in the 1800s, having a cutoff of 1900 is kind of an important detail.

I was responding to NAN's weird obsession with the people
I don't think it's that significant

Considering they are the last 3 people to have been alive during the 19th century, which was over 115 years ago, I think it's pretty significant. But to each their own.

what makes them different than the 114 year olds though? that they were born a few months earlier?
anyone who lives over 100 amazes me. Sine none of them remember the 1800s, the fact that they were born then is moderately neutralized
