I don't think so. I've heard 'zipper merge' from natives in this area, but have never heard of 'alternate feed'.

Merge one by one, or, in the technical terms of the state police, by alternate feed. Each driver lets in one car. The driver who has been allowed to cut in is now known as the guest. The guest, like the cheese, stands alone, and does not get a guest of her own.
For the record, this is not a hill I'm dying on...I hope to never say either term again in my life...

I recently discovered these at the speedway gas station here in the burgh. Paqui was known for their one chip challenge with a single heavily dusted ghost pepper tortilla chip.
These by far are the spiciest chip I’ve ever tried. Way spicier than those hot ones from the Doritos roulette chips a few years ago.
Just got a bag of these at Sheetz. Impressively spicey for a mass produced product, but the overall flavor is more "burnt" than anything else.
