Turkey Hill is the best of the chain store available ice creams by far IMO.

Do you not have Blue Bell up there? Mayfield is good, too, but I think that's only in the Southeast. Turkey Hill is good, too.

Mayfield Premium Chocolate is my go-to. it's the prefect balance of chocolate and cream.

Blue Bell is definitely a southern brand, and I always try to get it when I visit my brother in Texas

It figures we have lots of premium ice cream to choose from down here, considering the diabetes rate and corresponding dialysis clinics everywhere.

Just purchased a daypack backpack off eBay using my Capital One card tied to PayPal. It earned me $1.43 in rewards. AMA

Osprey Daylite; will be getting Mrs Tif a tomtoc sling which is much more purse-adjacent.

Tif probably wears a daypack and fanny pack at the same time to Disney.

I'm about a dozen or so batches into it and I'm so excited for summer with all the fresh fruit from farmers markets and whatnot. I don't see ever going back.
I went thru an ice cream making phase a few years ago and had a blast doing it. Got to experiment with all kinds of fun flavors and combinations. Some were hits, but there were definitely some misses. My two favorite, by far, were a milk chocolate ice cream that I added fine shavings of a very spicy dark chocolate bar, and a vanilla bean ice cream with a cinnamon swirl and hot peaches*. Both were absolutely great, and I may have to break out the equipment again. Not sure why I stopped.

*hot peaches - dice up fresh peaches. Saute cut in half habaneros (or hotter) in butter and a bit of brown sugar for a bit. Remove the peppers (and seeds) from the butter. Saute the cut up peaches in the butter mixture. The oils from the peppers add a kick of heat to the sweet. So good in cobbler or over ice cream. One of my favorite things.

I just made a Lemon ice cream with Biscoff cookies. It's awesome.

Also a butterscotch ice cream with chocolate, peanuts, pretzles, and peanut butter swirled through. Phenomenal.

Like I said, summer is going to be a blast with all the fresh fruit available.

If I make it, you promise you'll all show up? I don't want all this ice cream and pizza to go to waste.

I really miss having Turkey Hill to choose in my grocer’s freezer.

Yall tuck your long socks into each other, or just fold at the tops? I assume tucking will make the elasticity last longer, but it also takes a couple more seconds to-do, and it's only socks, so...
