The Jericho segment was great. Cardona better be filing a gimmick infringement case though. The "Jericho Appreciation Society" name is pretty lame too. I'd rather them go by the "sports entertainers" or something. Tying it to one guy just makes the rest of the crew look like scrubs. The fact that Jericho actually trademarked "sports entertainer" is hilarious.

So it's been recently reported by Fightful that a Warner Media "person of influence" was blocking AEW from signing the Briscoes due to some dumb **** they posted on Twitter like years ago but have since renounced and apologized for many times over... So the big fight with FTR is happening in ROH instead.

Friends of Scott Hall knew this was coming but things that happened in the final week of his life made things worse. Waltman told Meltzer that he called Hall about a month ago to stay with him because he had been “deteriorating for the past two years due to drinking.”

“The pandemic did him in,” said Waltman. “It was hard enough for him as it was, but he was isolated in his house with no social interaction. He was down to 210 pounds. We called Dally (Dallas Page) and he went over. It was really bad..”

The story notes that when Hall fell and broke his hip, he wasn’t able to move and unable to get to the phone. Hall laid there until friends asked DDP to check on him. DDP got there and found Hall and took him to the hospital.

Hall reportedly was in bad shape last year during WrestleMania weekend. On the night before last year’s Mania for the NWO Hall Of Fame induction, Hall reportedly passed out in the bar and then no sold it the next night on stage. He was also said to be in rough shape at the Stockton Comic Con and of late was missing bookings.
