**** up my back putting up the outside decorations. Hopefully the Au Pair has some massage skills to help out.
Is she hot?
Was a reference to a comment on another thread. I wish we could afford an Au Pair.

Co-worker I was in meetings out of town with all last week is now out with COVID, which if I have ever had it I've never tested positive. Now I'm like, I just coughed, and my nose might be runny, do I have it?

Apart from I don't really want to be sick right before the holidays, I don't want to ruin my streak of not knowingly having it.

Can’t knowingly have it if you don’t test.

My logic anymore. Knowing I have it produces no positives so why bother.

No idea what I ate last night that everyone else in my family at the party didn't, but my stomach is not happy with me. Literally on the pot every hour on the hour since 6:45 this morning

Daughter went to a sleepover party last night, but her friend started not feeling well and we had to pick her up. Got a call today that her mom tested positive for Covid, so I guess we’ll have to keep an eye on things. Right before Christmas, which is just **** lovely.

Ugh, tis the season. Good luck.

We went to a big holiday party last night and wouldn't you know it, one of the people we talked to has COVID. My daughter has been coughing nonstop for a week and tested negative twice so who knows what the week will bring.

Yep. Wife is sick again (and testing negative so far), nephew’s got the flu along with the SIL. I guess it’s better that everybody gets sick this week and hopefully feels better come Christmas.

I’m going to just do what I do for vacation - limited contact two weeks prior to big events.

Kiddo was sick Wednesday. Wasn’t feeling 100% on Thursday or yesterday, but well enough to go to school. Of course, last night my throat swells, post nasal drip, saliva flowing which sucks because my throat hurts when I swallow. Today: fever and grossness. Fun times.

I've got everything but the fever. Can't remember a time where my throat hurt this bad without having had strep. The strangest part is everything is left side only... left nostril left side of throat. Probably because I sleep on that side

Yeah, strep was the first thing that popped into my mind. Feels a lot like it.

I'm 99% sure it's just a bad cold for me and not strep. Just crazy amounts of post nasal drip irritating the throat. Wish I had a sauna or something

My son’s preschool shut down last week due to Covid/rsv. We didn’t send him back this week because we knew he’d be sick for Christmas.
