I went on a rampage and bought 7 or 8 different mayos from various stores because I got sick of Hellman's. I don't like it so much that if I taste a little by itself I have to make a funny face. So after testing a good number of these, my favorite now is Krasdale.

Kewpie. It's a Japanese mayo that includes dashi stock and MSG. Wonderfulness achieved.

Heinz. It's one of the few big-company mayos that doesn't include natural flavors or MSG. I really hope it doesn't go away due to the merger with Kraft.

I'm dying to try kewpie. As it stands, Hellmanns. I've been known to eat a decent quantity right off the butter knife after making a sandwich.

Basic mayonnaise is super easy to make. Seriously, if you have a blender or food processor, it takes more effort to buy the stuff from the store.

My brother used to eat peanut butter and mayo (Miracle Whip) sandwiches.

Generally speaking, I'll try anything. But I have not yet had the stomach to try that.

The 'miracle' of Miracle Whip is that people discuss it in the context of mayonnaise. It even says right on the packaging that it's salad dressing. Which, ew.
