Louis Theroux of the BBC did a documentary on a handful of the "alt right" folks, including Fuentes. Fuentes literally streams his "show" from his parents' basement. I have no idea why people would like that guy, as he comes across as precisely the sort of (literal) basement-dweller that one would expect to find on someplace like 4chan. He's a smarmy, petulant man-child.

The story is somebody claiming to be Hunter Biden dropped off a laptop at a computer repair shop, never to return. Isn't it pretty commonly accepted that the laptop is not actually Hunter's but may contain some files that were taken from Hunter's actual laptop? Also, that despite an investigation, nothing incriminating was ever found? Or is that just what the evil mainstream media wants us to believe?

Also I don't give a **** about Biden, Hunter or Joe. If they did something illegal, charge them. The GOP seems to think that we worship Biden or the Clintons the same way they worshipped Trump.

Yeah, the actual story about the laptop is weird, but if we want to accept the story at face value, it went something like, Biden dropped the computer off at some random computer repair shop, never returned, and then the owner contacted rudy giuliani. I think that the things on the laptop have been authenticated, but some weird hoops to get to there.

So right, it's weird. But then the whole story suppression is where the right wingers are all butt-hurt. I think that there were troll farms spreading the story to try and hype the thing up, probably the same activity patterns for how the hacked stories were spread in the 2016 election. And social media companies made decisions after 2016 to prevent that sort of manipulation, so they blocked that NY Post story from being shared.

Giuliani being involved so early in the custody of he laptop and when it was released reeks of dirty tricks.

I'm asking cos I'm not sure how that works, jurisdictionally. Is it where the digital files are obtained? Where they are disseminated? Where the host service is located? (To that end, does Safe Harbor shield a service provider from liability for hosting such images the same way it does IP infringement?) I frankly have no idea.
