The right's position has always been people kill people not guns. So it's really easy to pick on trans people as shooters lately.
But rather than making it harder for those killers to get guns, they just want to be rid of the people.

Multiple posters here have advocated for much more stringent evaluation of prospective gun owners, including examinations to make sure that the prospective gun owner is not suffering from a disqualifying mental illness. Sure sounds like trans status should be considered a disqualifying mental illness, given the fact that trans/nonbinary persons are a minuscule percentage of the population but have now been involved in five prominent shootings:

The only local news articles that mentioned the possibility said something to the effect of "The shooter went by a number of aliases, one of which was Jerome (last name), but wanted to be called she/her, so that's what we're going with"

Are you denying that person's lived experience? And how exactly would you know whether the person was lying or not? Are you saying that sex and gender should be based on objective criteria and not someone's say-so?

Also, that you say they are fake doesn't mean they are. If you have evidence that any of those persons were not trans or non-binary, then post it. Your say-so means absolutely nothing.

I’m denying you’re lived experience that there’s an epidemic mass shootings perpetrated by trans people.

I’m also not invested in these murderers being trans. But seeing the list is copied from a transphobe, and the first one easily refuted, and the last one also fake. I feel safe assuming that probably half the list is evidenced by like an Ian miles Cheong post.

It’s more than that… black people and women have rights now, can’t fight that culture war anymore. Gay people have rights now, can’t fight that culture war anymore. Lots of people are still on the fence about trans individuals… let’s give that a shot!
