There's no sound Jamie Dimon loves more than his own voice.

Well. Americans haven't curbed their spending habits, so I can see how he would draw that conclusion.
What DD said, but my comment was mainly directed at the covid money comment. Billionaires like him are entirely out of touch with reality, and I'd love to see him live like an average middle class man for a month.

If you gave them this very scary $15/hr and $500 in the bank but they have to find a place to live while getting to work and living they’d crumble within a week.

This guy tried something similar and quit. Due to “health concerns.” That’s the point buddy, these people have no safety net.

I guess no one (including the fed) cares about inflation anymore.

My wife asked me about getting a HYSA. Amex sent her some information on getting one at 4.5%. I did a cursory check and that came back as competitive. I can't even remember the banks I was looking at before I went with the money market mutual fund route instead.

Anyone using anything better?

I think my current HYSA is around there right now. I haven't seen anything much higher..maybe 4.75% but it seemed to have specific requirements.

Everbank is at 5.16%. It's (currently) part of my retirement investment company (TIAA), so it's very easy to track and monitor as it's on the same platform.
