The movie goes out of its way to show the hot desirable chick is the version with short hair, and the one that Deadpool has to 'settle' for is the one with long hair. Clearly.

Cool Hand Luke was pretty good as is The Hustler or even The Color of Money.

The older movies suffer the moving very slowly though.

I was just trying to find a good comparison. I liked cars, but it belongs nowhere near a best paul newman role list. cool hand luke is an all time favorite.

When I got my first appointment in college, it came with cable and HBO. The first month we lived there was the month A League Of Their Own was on. Probably watched it a dozen times that month. Still one of those movies I'll watch through if we find it channel surfing.
And theres marla hooch...what a hitter!

I love how during the "there's no crying in baseball" argument with the ump, Jimmy Dugan is just barking nonsense gibberish and waving his arms around.

Of all the great Hanks films in his catalog, you picked the one where he plays second billing straight man to Geena Davis, Madonna, and Rosie O'donnel.

C'mon, man.

There is something real special about goofball Tom Hanks. That exact scene had me in tears and reminiscing how when you see him get into that type of act, you just know that only Tom hanks can do it like that, it's so good.

I think he still stood out. So many great roles and actors in that film.

My friend and I would watch that movie during sleep overs when it was on (and it was on all the time even to this day. No complaints).

And I remember thinking it was so awesome that Madonna and Rosie O Donnell were from Staten Island.

So many great things about that movie.

Watched Lion King, Jeremy Irons scar might be the best Disney villain ever. With the live action remaking coming out, I'm all for keeping him and James Earl Jones voices in tact for their respective characters.

He was a great villain, but his feature song (Be Prepared) was terrible.
