There's a distinction, though, and it's a major one IMO. Whether one is impersonating another person or company is a pretty objective standard. For example, does the name of this account incorporate the personal or company name of another account? Are they posting stuff as if they were that other account, like an account with "Eli Lilly" in its name posting about a product that the Eli Lilly corporation makes? Is the account marked as parody in the account name? Those are objective tests. Whether something is "hate speech" is far more subjective. There are many people who would say that There are only two sexes" is hate speech. There are many people who would disagree.

That article is bullcrap. The fact that intersex conditions exist due to genetic disorders does not mean that the people experiencing those genetic disorders somehow represent a different, third sex. We are not aware of any animal species on earth that has three distinct sexes. Even hermaphroditic species like snails still only have two types of sexual organs and produce only two types of gametes (i.e., eggs and sperm). No animal species has even been found that produces eggs and sperm and a third type of gamete that must combine with the other two in order to produce a viable organism.

Musk can do what he wants with his toy, just like Twitter was able to ban Trump (and by rights should've done so in 2012) in the first place. But can we please stop with the artifice that Musk is on some 'free speech' crusade here? Shut all the f**k up with that.
