Sides are our favorite thanksgiving things, so that’s all we do. Don’t even have a protein.

No meat is egregious!

The sides are what make me feel like a piece of **** after dinner. Every year I tell myself I'm going protein heavy carb lite and every year I fail.

Turkey cooked right is really good, but it's hard to find someone who can cook it right because it's not a common thing. We made the turkey a couple years in a row (Alton Brown recipe) and it was titties

We also have a Greek stuffing which is ground beef based instead of bread based and its nice

I smoke and then fry my turkey. It was amazing last year. We'll see how this year turns out.

Does anyone have a paper shredder they can recommend? Looking around it seems like there are a lot of nearly disposable ones at the $50 price point and then a jump to $300 units. This is just something my wife wants so she can shred bills and medical stuff.

I'm spoiled by the barrel-sized crosscut shredders I had at work.

The originals must've been produced in such a ridiculously huge quantity because even mint on cards don't fetch much. Case in point: a quick eBay search tells me that a mint on card 98 Malone just sold for $2. There are some rare ones that'll net more, and anything Jordan will get some cash, but for the most part they're worth the same or less than their original price.

The 3 1/2 minutes does not capture the full amount of time needed to prepare the meal. Prep, unpackaging, removing the top of the cup, stirring. etc. She would like $5 million in damages. Her lawyer is a well-known...... whatever the truth-in-advertising equivalent of a personal injury ambulance chaser is called.

This is why the terrorists won.

I took a very quick look to see if there were statutory damages involved but didn't see anything.

Oh.

The damages are that Kraft is selling it at a "premium" based on the 3.5 minutes claim. The consumer is damaged by the cost difference between this premium fake cheese cup over a more basic offering. If she is damaged by $1 and the class pool has the potential for 5 million affected then you can reach that number.

It sounds dumb, and practically is dumb, but these actions do keep advertisers honest. Part of the basis for the complaint is that Kraft has gotten in trouble making false claims before and this represents a continued pattern of misconduct.
