From my limited experience using the admin panel, I don't think there is a way you can read other people's private messages.

Dagny has even told me there is no way to see the PMs. I wouldn't worry about that lli

I've run a few php boards in the past and I don't remember having any ability to read other peoples' PMs... at least not directly. Maybe there is a way to get at the data through the database directly or there may be plugins, but I certainly don't remember it being a standard feature.

Avatars can be turned off by individual users in the profile settings. Taking it away from everyone because you irrationally don't understand how they work is dagnyesque.

Yeah, and no reason to **** on RJ or LGP, I personally spent a lot of time there (obviously, lol) and enjoyed it quite a bit. It doesn't have to be a zero-sum war by any stretch here, just an alternative. So everyone can be happy regardless of where they go.
