Every now and then I slam my hand into my club brush. That hurts.i reached in my golf bag to grab a ball and a tee was sticking through and slashed my hand open, i had like a 4 inch long scratch that bled for 4 holes

Reminder that USPS service will be worse and more expensive starting this Friday:
Starting Friday, the Postal Service will “implement new service standards for First Class Mail and Periodicals,” spokeswoman Kim Frum said in an email to USA TODAY.
The changes mean an increased time-in-transit for mail traveling long distances, such as from New York to California. Frum said that “most first class mail (61%) and periodicals (93%) will be unaffected” by the changes. Single-piece first-class mail traveling within the same region will still have a delivery time of two days.
The Postal Service defines first-class mail as “standard sized letters and flats,” Frum said. That’s different from first-class packages, which are typically used for shipping smaller, lightweight packages. Currently, first-class mail and first-class packages have the same delivery standards, but that will change beginning Friday.

There's a musical composition called 4′33″ in which the ensemble sits still and most assuredly does not play any music for four minutes and thirty-three seconds. The 'music' is the ambient sounds of the auditorium.

And it's fantastic.

I wrote a paper on 433 for a music theory class. We had to decide if it was music or not and defend it. I decided it is not music even though the argument is that the absence of intended sound is a part of music. That's BS IMO because that assumes there is not an absence of sound before and after and during the same movement. And the piece isn't even a set time. It can be any length of time and 4 minutes 33 seconds is just the length of the "original performance".There's a musical composition called 4′33″ in which the ensemble sits still and most assuredly does not play any music for four minutes and thirty-three seconds. I started that video and then stopped it cause I had seen it before but it showed a window in the frame right as I stopped it. Glad I noticed and watched the whole thing.

Yeah, the rest durations in music work because they're surrounded by...... you know, MUSIC.I wrote a paper on 433 for a music theory class. We had to decide if it was music or not and defend it. 4'33" is the musical equivalent of duct taping a banana to a wall and calling it "art"

But it at least has a visual and textural quality to it. 433 is literally nothing.4'33" is the musical equivalent of duct taping a banana to a wall and calling it "art"

To bring it full circle for you I personally think Dave Grohl knows how to use rests better than most musicians.Yeah, the rest durations in music work because they're surrounded by...... you know, MUSIC.I wrote a paper on 433 for a music theory class. If you can hear shuffling and ambient noise, I'd still consider that "aural texture" in the same sense you'd consider a solid object as having texture.
