Ichiro Suzuki for baseball. Was a big fan of Jason Bay too.
Konstantin Koltsov for hockey (and I've no idea why), though I'm becoming a big fan of Duchene. Avs are my #2 team.
Polamalu for football. Also really liked LaDainian Tomlinson.
Park Ji-Sung for soccer, though I'm also big fans of Shinji Kagawa, Cristiano Ronaldo (despite everyone not liking him), Drogba (despite not liking Chelsea), and Vidic. (Edit: I forgot Chicharito!)

Unlike PFiDC, I'm all about the individual players & less so about teams (unless it's the Pens).

Favorite sumo wrestler: the former Hōmashō Noriyuki (real name Yōsuke Yamamoto and now a sumo coach under the name Tatsutagawa Noriyuki). Hōmashō wasn't the best wrestler but was known for his politeness, his unruffled attitude, and his deep and graceful bow after a match—whether win or lose. If sumo had a Lady Byng Trophy, Hōmashō would have won it every year of his career.

Motor racing - This is a tough one. I idolized Ayrton Senna, but he only raced in F1. Mario Andretti had a much more storied career in a variety of categories over several decades. But I have to go with Senna.

Roger Clemens told me to go do something immoral to myself one time when I was a young punk and told him he sucked while he was waiting for a cab in downtown.

I've always liked him for that.

I was at marios celebrity golf outing and Elway wouldn't sign a ball coming off the green. Literally everyone else I asked did. I was like 7. Andy Van Slyke signed his bat I had. Elway has been a jagoff in my opinion ever since.
