I no longer can see any X posts. I'm not sure if that's something I like or not.

For them to display on this site, you have to (manually) change the X to twitter. Even then, it takes 20-30 seconds for it to load for me. It might be my Firefox settings or adblock or both. Or the site. Or all three.

I notice that other peoples twitter posts show up, mine just show as a link.

So I know it’s on my end and I’m okay with that

**** ing Reynolds strikes out with the bases loaded in the 7th and grounds into a double play with the bases loaded in the 9th.

How fitting, Bednar gives up a 3-run HR in a scoreless 9th inning.

Best start in priester’s career. First time he went scoreless.

Bednar and Chapman have somehow cost this team 3-4 losses

While true on Bednar and Chapman, if the Pirates hitters could string together some hits and score a few more (or any) runs, outcomes would be different.

That's what my concern is: the lack of developed hitters in the system. Pitching seems to be OK, for the most part, but no or few big bats in the lineup will keep them in the L column a lot. As is Nutting's design. Mediocrity is safe and makes money.

The three young hitters with some intrigue have been a disaster this year (Davis suwinski and Cruz)

Also Hayes is certainly a major league hitter but I admire his unwillingness to improve with the bat one iota since he was promoted to the majors. It takes dedication to maintain that level of consistent averageness

And the one guy who went outside the MLB Pirates hitting coaches - Hayes - is doing well. And managed to get the guy who helped him fired (Nunnally). Good times.

Yeah cruz is sub .700, suwinski is sub .600, and Davis is almost Austin hedges level of futility. You're not going anywhere unless that changes

I am officially a jaded pirate fan with this.

Doesn’t matter how good the rotation is if your offense is this pathetic
