Welp, I woke up with the left ear clogged. Also presumably infected considering its throbbing and in serious pain and I get ear infections like an 8 year old.

The good news is I'm still dumping out truckloads of yellow ****

I took some advil cold and sinus this morning that at least has broken my fever. Still have zero energy and a slight headache….plus some weird ass painful stomach cramps…hopefully the ducolax clears that up.

Still super tired this evening. Think my fever is gone. Just super constipated…which is an awful feeling.

My throat was a little sore a few days ago, seemed fine yesterday, but today is back to sore. White patches in the back and my neck is a little sore, so I’ll be going to urgent care first thing in the morning for a strep test.

Got to urgent care one minute after they opened. I’m eighth in line. Mom and an infant in here, too, which I thought was a little odd given that we have at least two pediatric urgent care centers within 10 minutes of here.

Her kid is coughing up a lung, so I’m guessing that’s not the case.

Both of our urgent cares take online check in, which minimizes time in the waiting room. You could be home playing Halo or 3D Printing.

I’m printing a test pattern right now to work out a horizontal line/z axis issue. Hopefully it’ll be done when I get back, or close to it.

Meanwhile, the boomer next to me is watching TikTok videos at full volume on his phone.

FWIW there was tonsillitis going around on campus here - a coworker's kid got it and I'm pretty sure I had it for like 2 weeks (I thought it mightve just been a canker sore in an unfortunate spot but it hurt to talk as well). Would not be shocked if it was still going around and students took it home on break.

Feel pretty good today. I ate two pieces of toast yesterday that was it. I was able to eat breakfast today and take down the outside Christmas lights.

My wife said in all the years we’ve been together she had never seen me lay around all day and do absolutely nothing like I did yesterday.

My wife and I have been together 15 years. Loved together for 12, married for 10. I’ve spent two days on the couch where I didn’t move for the day…

Friday last week and vasectomy day. So both in 2023.

Man those 3 years where you guys didn’t love each other must’ve been awkward.
