Might be time to go back to the drawing board on some of these predictive analytics.
I think I can abide by the Yankees getting a decent, but to rank them as the 4th best team is absurd. And then the Rays 5th is the most egregious to me, and then another three teams ahead of the Orioles, and the two WS teams in another lower tier. I think the Rays just broke their models, not sure, but I think they're assuming Wander Franco is available (Wander Franco will never play MLB again), and they're predicting positive contributions from all of their starting pitchers that had TJ last year.
And I obviously disagree with putting the pirates in the bottom "rebuilding" tier. They are clearly in the above "no mans land' tier. Disgraceful.
They need to just retire that ZIPS crap. It's creating content, but **** content.

When you're right, you're right. The Pirates are incapable of rebuilding and shouldn't be characterized as such.

Whatever brings us closer to full elimination of the umpire making pitch calls is okay in my book.

The owners proposed a salary cap/floor before the last deal. Players rejected the premise outright.
Only major sport without that structure and then complains about the obvious outcome from that arrangement.
I have no sympathy for the players on this one.
