Fun fact about "Iron Eagle": The USAF obviously didn't want to cooperate with a movie centered around a group of civilian teenagers stealing two F-16s and illegally bombing someone, so all the aircraft and flying scenes are IDF assets filmed in Israel. Also, Doug's girlfriend is Jan from The Office.
I haven't seen it in ages, but I remember thinking Enemy Mine was pretty underrated.

I had never heard of him, but that was quite the story to read at 7 AM. What an absolute mess.

I hope those .... vague 4-year-old allegations .... on Instragram were worth it.

Gossett Jr. was on Rockford Files a few times, but that was Isaac Hayes calling him Rockfish. My favorite performance of his was on the Rockford Files.
He called Jim "Rockfish."

My "cable" has a bunch of channels of old TV shows and Rockford Files is one that I'll put on if there isn't anything else on.It's been 30 years since I last saw them on A&E.
One was Gabby and one was Gandy.
About a week or so before the original post about Gossett Jr's passing, there was an episode that was on where Isaac Hayes' character actually called Rockford by his real name.
