It's a banger - much better than Artemis.

Dune 2 was good. The visuals are masterful and the story is complex

The South Park guys are involved? That might make it interesting because they aren't a couple of milk drinkers...swap Kendrick Lamar for Donald Glover though.

That said, this is going to need to be some pretty unique social commentary at this point...I don't know how much more white guilt they can squeeze out of us...

Sounds like studio heads aren't that upset with gladiator 2 budget rising to $300+ after the footage was just shown. Sharks, monkeys and rhinos oh my!

That film is going to have huge marketing costs, so when all's said and done it will have to gross close to a billion dollars to break even.

If you want to know why studios shy away from original IP, that's why.

I still see the title (Gladiator II) and think to myself, why, this isn't going to be good and then look at the cast and crew and keep my fingers crossed that ol Ridley will crank out a good one. I think the first one is the last time I saw a movie over 5 times in the theater.

It’s Ridley Scott. It’ll either be incredible or decidedly not incredible. He’s a director that I just can’t figure out. Clearly he’s a genius but then there is plenty of evidence that he’s… decidedly not a genius.

Gladiator and Black Hawk Down was I think the last time he directed two winners in a row. And he's made 14 or 15 movies since BHD. In that group, I think the only great films are American Gangster and The Martian.

This has a lot of things going for it - most importantly, no Michael Bay. I’m all for a rated R version, though it’s kinda sad that it’ll only feature one of the turtles (which is obviously the storyline).

I know people love the last ronin run and I know that the original comics were dark, but I have zero desire to see dudes in turtle costumes cursing and beating people bloody. R rated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feels like an SNL sketch.

Did anyone here read the original comics? They were not family friendly.

Big fan of the comics and the last Ronin run was excellent. Kinda surprised they are doing this, but I'll watch.

First time catching up on the Michael Bay turtles movies. It’s so bad. It could be campy good but the way they wrote April is awful, just really bad, completely unbelievable.

Only if you were blind. There is no redemption for how atrocious the turtles looked. Zero.

In her prime and I guess it worked for the movie. this is just the same rinse and repeat formula. It's boring.

It looks like she'll be in the Priscilla Presley role, which makes sense. Presley's casting must've been confusing at the time also. I like Anderson more now than I did when she was at her height.
