Do you think they actually believe what happened is consistent with that arrest report?
who’s “they” in this? The other cops?

The telltale sign that the detective's charges are BS is that if Scheffler really did drag him, there'd be more than the offended cop surrounding his car.

Second round out... Solid improvement over the last round. I need to get the 100 milestone out of my head. I was sitting at 80 with three Par 4s to play and ended up with 100 on the number. Couple of dumb compounded mistakes.

It feels like I'm hitting a lot of good shots out there, just need to get a little more consistent and stop chasing. Several lip outs too.

I knew that I remembered Grayson Murray's name from somewhere...
Every person I've seen named "Grayson" is a massive NTP66
Oh, yeah.

I hope he found some peace in the two years since he was last discussed here.

7am tee time today. 18 holes, count money and divvy up winnings, lunch and a couple beers all done with at 12:30. A pain getting up so early but I love these days

US Women's Open back in Lancaster this year. I really wish I was on the grounds for this one. It'll be fun to see on TV all the crowds that come out for it and maybe this time the LPGA will see it and consider a bit more to put a yearly event somewhere in the area.

Played there a couple years ago and loved that place. Such a sweet track

No barking from the dog
No smog
No tornado inducing thunderstorms as were predicted in the weather forecast.
And the kangaroo broke 80 for the first time (albeit on a par 71 with a +8)

70, 71, 72, 73, doesn't matter...you bust 80 that's a giant accomplishment.

So how far was the putt for 79?

That rules, what course?

I was on my way to a similar round yesterday, I was +2 after 10. Then was reminded why I wait to start drinking until the turn. Had a later tee time and got beer before the round, got pretty toasted drinking beers in that heat/humidity, and lost most functional golf abilities to end up with an 83 (+11). 3 3-putts and 0 fairways those last 8 holes.

Thanks all. It was at Chestnut Ridge. I needed a bogey on the last hole, had a scare off the tee, but came out with a routine 5.

It’s really hard to par that many holes. You gotta do a lot of things right. I don’t think I’m all that interested in getting good enough to do that on a routine basis.

First round of the Women's Open is what a US Open should look like. Three players under par. The Par 3 12th currently has a scoring average well over 4. Nelly Korda scored a TEN there.

I didn’t play #2 when I was there, but I will say that pinehurst is one of the coolest destinations in this great country. Amazing amazing vibe.

There has been a lot of great content on golf's longest day (US Open qualifying). Always some great stories coming out of there

I didn't want to go at first even though it's only 2 hours away because the tickets are pretty pricey, but I figure I should at least go to one round so I'll probably go Thursday
