Besides Daisy's shorts and the General Lee, he was the best part of that show.

RIP to Geoffrey Lewis at 79.
You may not know his name, but if you're a man, you know his appearances in several (seven actually) Clint Eastwood movies including High Plains Drifter and Every Which Way But Loose.

I loved Lewis in Salem's Lot.
Also saw that Richard Dysart has died.

I didn't realize Geoffrey was Juliette Lewis' father.

Probably should've put the video in the OP since it's unrelated to the comment about him being Juliette's father.

RIP Chef Homaro Cantu, of Moto in Chicago.
Famed chef Homaro Cantu, owner of Moto, found dead on Northwest Side
Famed chef Homaro Cantu, owner of Moto, found dead on Northwest Side
Cantu had wowed diners with his edible menus, carbonated fruit and a fish preparation that cooked before your eyes in a tabletop polymer box, but his ambitions went beyond culinary pleasures. Citing as inspiration his family’s homelessness while growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Cantu presented food and science as a way to solve the world’s problems, particularly hunger.
His now-shuttered restaurant iNG and recently opened coffee shop Berrista emphasized the miracle berry, a fruit that makes sour foods taste sweet and could, in his mind, eliminate the need for sugar while making previously unpalatable ingredients palatable. He started an aeroponic farm inside Moto’s basement and attempted lab work that might lead to the creation of synthetic meat and a vegan egg.

so my grandpa's funeral was today and after the burial, we had lunch back at the church and afterward I helped walk my grandma to the car she was riding in. She looks at me and asks "where's Frankie?", my grandpa's name being Frank.
It was obvious she meant someone else. One of her sons, grandchildren, a friend, I don't know. But she had to say the name of the person who was married to her for pretty much three times as long as I've been alive (one month short of their 60th anniversary).
people say "sorry for your loss to me" and I understand it. I understand what it feels like losing a loved one; it sucks but you keep on chugging. But man, I couldn't imagine being in her shoes.
I'm not a crier but man I almost lost it right there.
