I think a large portion of hockey people do...you never know if you're ever gonna win one again, enjoy every second of it...

Yeah. We've mocked the Caps for years for celebrating "like they just won the Cup."

Well now their celebrations finally match their achievement.

The Pens partook in some amazingly public displays of drunkeness.

Personally I'm rooting for the Caps' epic bender. It would be nice for the pens to ride their SC hangover to a division title.

Fleury, officially, was given only one third place vote according to the NHL...is the fix in?

I didn't know Sami was a voter...we had a few tequilas at the World Juniors together, I knew what he did, but I didn't know he was a Big J Journo like that...cool. He had a good ballot too...

Has shmenguin been around?

I am enjoying the Caps celebration. The drunken debauchery is fantastic and yet another aspect of what makes hockey different than other sports. In baseball, they just put goggles, kneepads, and elbow pads on and carefully squirt champagne at each other.

There's a pretty good short video about the difference between the NBA and NHL celebrations. Shows KD attempting to break beer cans on one another then sips beer and spits it out.

reading tweets about the parade you'd think the Caps were the first team ever to have a drunken parade.

For real. It's a shame the NHL season ended before the Stanley Cup was awarded this year, but sometimes these things just happen.
