Agreed. They've gotten solid value.

Exciting 2nd day. Friermuth is a fkn beast. Don't know much about linemen but there's your center.

Franco Harris all over my television and social media. RB in first round. UPS TE over multiple high value OT options in second. Centre county ass draft

Nothing summons slappy better than a psu te on the Steelers.

Kinda like what they've done in the first 2 rounds. Basically help for a noodle arm Ben, if that's what he is this year, and setting up for life post Ben.

Steelers have a great track record at drafting gimmick punters.

Kiper wasn’t a fan of the Harris pick. That turns things southward pretty quick.shafnutz05 wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 12:45 pm https://steelersdepot.com/2021/05/steel ... -kiper-jr/
Hmph.
He’s also wrong.

Well now I am trapped because Kiper is a complete loser. Hmmm.

Best evidence that it’s a good draft thus far

Yeah. Certainly not a sexy draft, but they picked up some real workhorses, IMO. Really good football players. Dinks like Kiper don't value those types of players as high as the potential freaks.Dickie Dunn wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 1:39 pmKiper wasn’t a fan of the Harris pick. Early days of course, but i think the Steelers had a really good draft. Unfortunately, I think BAL, CIN, and CLE all had good drafts, too.

I'm going to play the odds and call it a success if Kiper and dodint don't like it

Watched a video earlier where they showed Kiper had had multiple drafts in the last few years where he's whiffed on 20+ consecutive picks. He said if Jimmy Clausen - yes, that Jimmy Clausen - wasn't a bona fide star QB in 8 years, he'd retire; his counterpart said "You only need 3 years". That was 11 years ago, and yet Kiper lives.
I don't follow the college game (and therefore prospect rating) that closely, but it seems like the people who pay for Kiper's opinion are trolling the rest of us.

The above two posts can be answered by the following: MKJ does suck at his job, but he's helped turn the NFL draft into a cash cow.tifosi77 wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 11:40 pm Watched a video earlier where they showed Kiper had had multiple drafts in the last few years where he's whiffed on 20+ consecutive picks.
