There's obviously still work to be done, but two off seasons of the Omar/Weidl combo has helped reinforce the mediocrity and overinflated reputation Colbert was bringing to the team. Another in a long list of football personnel who was unable to adapt to a changing league. I was against promoting Omar but have been very pleasantly surprised at how non-"Steelers Way" the approach has been from a 20+ year member of the front office.

Just seems like they are following the "don't do stupid ****" motto.

Getting low-risk, high-reward picks at the top of the draft (Jones, Porter, Benton, Fatanu (learn to spell it later), and Frazier).

Then getting value with the risky picks (Washington, Trice, Payton Wilson). Those guys wont have 10+ year Steeler careers, but they will provide value on their rookie contracts and could be assets. And if they fail, it's not a big deal.

Just looking at the '20-'22 picks, it's great that they have Najee, Warren (non-drafted FA), Friermuth, and Pickens. But like, so many idiotic picks like Green, Leal, Loudermilk, Heyward. This year will be the first time they have roster depth.

I think I saw whatever it was he had a warrant for got dropped to a misdemeanor.

And I think he was miscast in Detroit as their #1 corner. I think him and Jackson as 2.a and 2.b would be perfect.

Maybe he was trying to baptize their child. From my understanding that makes it okay.

I know he was a favorite of the Drive podcast. Daniels’ replacement next year most likely.

There’re going to draft Devonshire with their last pick aren’t they?

I wouldn’t mind them taking a shot on Pratt in the 6th.

I know it's all meaningless until they see the field but Steelers got an A or A- grade in most places.
